Garmin's echoMAP CHIRP 54cv provides you a clear view of all those fish you are trying to find. This compact and durable fishfinder comes preloaded with BlueChart g2 coastal maps, and it includes Garmin's Quickdraw Contours custom HD map creation software. You can easily unmount you Garmin echoMAP CHIRP when you are off the water. The BlueChart g2 map covers the U.S. coastal area including east coast, west coast, Gulf of Mexico, and the Canadian side of the Great Lakes. You will get detailed views of underwater features, plus you can use Shallow Water Shading to designate a minimum depth. The Garmin CHIRP 54cv also shows interstates, highways, general roads, bridges, designated fishing areas, docks, boat ramps, marinas, and campgrounds. Ultra-fast internal 5 Hz GPS refreshes your position and heading 5 times per second, so onscreen movement looks fluid on the 5-inch color display with keypad control.

The echoMAP CHIRP 54cv comes with high wide CHIRP sonar and Garmin CHIRP ClearVü for clear scanning sonar images. Garmin CHIRP ClearVü sonar gives you a photographic image of what's up to 250 feet below your boat, providing the detail and clarity you need to distinguish fish and structures. Instead of sending just one frequency, CHIRP sonar sends out a continual sweep of high and low frequencies. The wider range of information means you will see crisper fish arches and better target separation. You can use the microSD card slot to add accessory maps like LakeVü HD Ultra or BlueChart® g2 Vision HD.
