The Furuno CA50/200ID-R199 is a R199 commercial grade ultra-high
performance in-hull transducer that can "shoot through the hull", and carry
excellent performance with all the advantages of an in-hull design without hole
in the boat to the propeller.
The CA50/200ID-R199 reads clearly at a very good speed, as flow turbulence noise isn’t an issue. The R199 packs an 88mm (3.5") ceramic at 200kHz, and fifteen dedicated elements operating at 50kHz.
