The Polar OH1+ Optical Heart Rate Sensor helps you to train smarter, not harder. You can keep track of your heart rate while you exercise on land or swim in the water with a phone or watch, or without. If you prefer training without a watch or a phone then you will be happy to know that this heart rate sensor has an internal memory which is enough to store up to 200 hours of training data. When you are exercising on land that is running, cycling or any other land-based activities then you just need to clip the OH1+ to the armband and wear it around your upper or lower arm to get started.

With the collected data you can enhance your workout by maintaining a steady, rhythmic pace while working out and later you can also transmit the data wirelessly in an app to store or display it. On the other hand when you want to use this sensor for any water-based activity, then you need to pop the sensor in the clip and attach it to your goggles. The swimming goggles strap clip which is included in the package makes it easy to use in the pool and supports the sensor to stay in place while you concentrate on swimming. The band is made of soft fabric which is machine-washable and fits comfortably and discreetly around your arm. The rechargeable lithium-polymer battery gives you 12 hours of training time on a single charge.
